if you really love nachos,so i create this casserole recipe,it filled with beef,jalapenos and more cheese.

Ingredients For beefy nachos casserole

  • 1 3/4 c
    crushed tortilla chips,divided
  • 2 jar
    processed cheese spread
  • 2 c
    fat-free sour cream
  • 1 c
    sliced jalapeno peppers
  • 1
    red onion,diced
  • 1 pkg
    (30 oz.) frozen shredded hash brown potatoes,thawed
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp-cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 c
    chili sauce
  • 1/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    seasoned pepper
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 c
    shredded white cheddar cheese

How To Make beefy nachos casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Place 1 cup crushed tortilla chips on greased 3-qt baking dish.

    In a large bowl,combine cheese spread,sour cream, jalapeno peppers and red onion.Stir in potatoes and cheeses;transfer to the baking dish.

    In a large skillet,cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink;drain.Stir in chili sauce,brown sugar and seasonings;spread over the potatoes.Sprinkle with remaining crushed tortilla chips and shredded white cheddar cheese over the top.Bake,uncovered,at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until bubbly.
