Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can (28 ounces) baked beans, undrained
- 1/2 cup bbq sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup catsup
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits, (6 biscuits)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make beefy bbq beans with biscuits

Step 1Brown beef, garlic, and onion is a skillet until all pink is gone and onions are tender. Drain. Add beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, catsup, and salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-6 minutes or until hot through-out.

Step 2Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pour meat mixture into a 7 by 11 inch casserole. Separate biscuits and slice them in half, making 2 thinner circles of each biscuit. Place biscuits on top of meat mixture. Bake for 18 minutes. Remove from oven and top biscuits with cheese. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
