Beefy BBQ Beans with Biscuits

1 lblean ground beef
1 clovegarlic, minced
1 mediumonion, chopped
1 can(s)(28 ounces) baked beans, undrained
1/2 cbbq sauce
1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
·salt and pepper to taste
1 can(s)refrigerated biscuits, (6 biscuits)
1 cshredded cheddar cheese
How to Make Beefy BBQ Beans with Biscuits
- Brown beef, garlic, and onion is a skillet until all pink is gone and onions are tender. Drain.
Add beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, catsup, and salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-6 minutes or until hot through-out.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Pour meat mixture into a 7 by 11 inch casserole. Separate biscuits and slice them in half, making 2 thinner circles of each biscuit. Place biscuits on top of meat mixture. Bake for 18 minutes. Remove from oven and top biscuits with cheese.
Return to oven for 3-5 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
