Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 10 ounces package frozen mustard greens or turnip greens, thawed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 - hard-cooked eggs, sliced
How To Make beef with mustard greens

Step 1In a deep 10-inch skillet cook the bacon until it is crisp. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Reserve the drippings.

Step 2To the drippings, add the beef, onion, and garlic. Cook till the meat is brown and the onion is tender but not brown. Drain off the fat.

Step 3Stir in the thawed greens, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer the mixture for 10 minutes.

Step 4For the sauce, stir together the bacon pieces, lemon juice, sugar, and paprika.

Step 5To serve, transfer the meat mixture to a heated serving platter. Garnish with the egg slices. Garnish with the sauce.
