Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, boneless cut into strips
- MARINADE INGREDIENTS
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1.5 tablespoons dry sherry
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil
- 1/2 pound asparagus, sliced diagonally
- - "just a pinch" of salt
- 3 tablespoons chicken broth
How To Make beef with asparagus

Step 1Coat beef thoroughly.

Step 2Marinate 10 minutes.

Step 3Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut oil in a wok over a high flame and stir-fry the beef long enough to brown it lightly.

Step 4Remove from wok and drain.

Step 5In the remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons of oil, stir-fry the asparagus for a few seconds to coat it.

Step 6Add salt and chicken broth and boil until the asparagus is tender-crisp (about 1 minute).

Step 7Add the beef and toss it with the asparagus to combine them.

Step 8Serve the beef immediately.
