    vegetable oil
  • 1 lb
    boneless beef sirloin
  • 1/2 c
    carrots, frozen sliced
  • 1 pkg
    mushroom or onion dry soup mix
  • 1 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 8 oz
    bamboo shoots, drained
  • 6 oz
    frozen peas, thawed
  • ·
    cooked rice

How to Make Beef & Vegetable Skillet Dinner


  1. Boneless sirloin steak should be cut into thin stir fry strips.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil and brown beef, in two batches, over medium-high heat.
  3. Remove beef.
  4. Add carrots, then mushroom recipe soup mix blended with water, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic powder and ginger.
  5. Bring to a boil, then simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender.
  6. Add beef, bamboo shoots and snow peas, simmer 3 minutes or until heated through.
  7. To serve, arrange beef mixture over hot rice.
