This recipe was given to my grandmother's mother, to my grandmother and then to mine. It was found tucked in the back of an old book.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef toque
- 2 large carrots
- 2 large onions
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 can water
- - salt and pepper
How To Make beef tonque, baked

Step 1Boil tonque till tender,

Step 2While boiling tonque, slice carrots diagonally and thinly slice the onions.

Step 3When the tonque is tender, cool, peel and slice.

Step 4Add salt and pepper.

Step 5In a large roasting pan, place onions and cover with the carrots. add sliced tonque in layers. Cover all with ketchup and water. cover and bake at 350dg for 30 minutes.

Step 6Stir and continue baking 30 minutes longer.
