On rainning days here I gotta come up with as much soups & stews as I can. This is a family favorite & go to recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds beef, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 10 cans tomato soup "3/4 ounces"
  • 6 small onion's, cut into cubes
  • 6 medium carrot's, cut in half
  • 3 large potatoe's, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil, dried & crushed

How To Make beef tomato stew

  • Step 1
    Frist in large heavy pan brown the meat with the oil. Then add in the soup with half a can of water per can, cover the pan & simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Step 2
    Next add in the remaining ingerdient's & cover again to cook for 1 more hour or until veggies are tender.
  • Step 3
    Then stir occasionally & serve hot over fresh cooke rice.
