1/2 c
green onions, finely chopped
2 c
mushrooms, sliced and drained
1 can(s)
condensed beef broth
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
2 tsp
tomato paste
1/4 c
dry red wine
3 Tbsp
buttered noodles

How to Make Beef Tips


  • 1Combine 1/2 cup flour with the salt and pepper and toss with beef cubes to coat thoroughly.
  • 2Place in crock-pot.
  • 3Add green onions and drained mushrooms.
  • 4Combine with beef broth, worcestershire sauce and tomato paste.
  • 5Pour over beef and vegetables; stir well.
  • 6Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 12 hours.
  • 7One hour before serving, turn to high setting.
  • 8Make a smooth paste of red wine and 3 tablespoons flour; stir into crock-pot, mixing well.
  • 9Cover and cook until thickened.
  • 10Serve over hot buttered noodles.
  • 118 to 10 servings (about 3 quarts)
