Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 - egg
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 package refrigerated biscuits
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
How To Make beef supper casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 400.

Step 2Grease bottom of a 9-inch square baking pan.

Step 3Brown ground beef in skillet; drain and reserve drippings.

Step 4Saute onion in reserved beef drippings until tender; drain.

Step 5Beat egg in mixing bowl.

Step 6Stir in sour cream, salt, and pepper.

Step 7Prepare biscuits as directed; except--after kneading gently, divide dough in half.

Step 8Roll out first half on lightly floured board or pastry cloth to fit dimensions of pan.

Step 9Pat dough tightly into bottom of pan.

Step 10Sprinkle dough evenly with ground beef.

Step 11Add onion layer and pour sour cream mixture over all.

Step 12Sprinkle with cheese.

Step 13Repeat rolling procedure with remaining biscuit dough.

Step 14Place dough on top of casserole mixture.

Step 15Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 16Cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Step 17Cut into squares to serve.
