Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 - french bread
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 large green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 - tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • - butter

How To Make beef stroganoff sandwich

  • Step 1
    In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain.
  • Step 2
    Add salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Cut bread lengthwise in half; butter both halves and place on baking sheet.
  • Step 4
    Remove meat mixture from the heat; stir in sour cream.
  • Step 5
    Spoon onto the bread. Sprinkle with tomatoes, green pepper and cheese.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted (bake longer for crispier bread).
