- 1 pound beef sirloin, boneless cut into strips
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 ounces mushrooms, sliced and drained
- 1/2 - chopped onion
- 1 - garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 10 ounces beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- - buttered noodles
How To Make beef stroganoff-russian style

Step 1Coat beef strips with 1 tablespoon flour and salt.

Step 2Brown beef strips quickly in 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet.

Step 3Add mushrooms, onion and garlic; cook until onion is crisp-tender, 3 to 4 minutes.

Step 4Remove meat and mushrooms from pan.

Step 5Add 2 tablespoons butter to pan drippings; blend in 3 tablespoons flour.

Step 6Add tomato paste.

Step 7Stir in broth.

Step 8Stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly.

Step 9Return meat and mushrooms to skillet.

Step 10Stir in sour cream; cook slowly until heated through.

Step 11Do not boil.

Step 12Serve over hot buttered noodles.
