Ingredients
- 1 pound beef tenderloin, sliced 1/4" thick
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound mushroom halves, sliced
- dash salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup beef bouillon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sherry
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire
- 1 cup sour cream
How To Make beef stroganoff, mom's

Step 1Roll beef in 1/4 c flour and sprinkle with 1/4 t pepper and 1 1/2 t salt. Saute in 1/4 c butter. Saute onion, garlic, mushrooms and dash of salt in remaining butter. Drain drippings from both and add 2 T flour, bouillon, remaining salt, sherry and Worcestershire. Simmer several minutes then add sour cream and stir constantly to simmer. DO NOT allow to boil. Serve beef over noodles or rice, with sauce.
