Ingredients

2 c
beef stock
1 lb
round steak, sliced thin
2 Tbsp
butter
3 Tbsp
olive oil
1
onion, sliced
1/2
red pepper sliced thin
1/2
yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 c
dill pickle, diced
1/4 c
brandy
2 c
whipping cream
5 tsp
paprika
12 oz
fettuccine pasta
1 tsp
lemon juice
6
dashes of hot pepper sauce
sour cream
parsley

Step-By-Step

1Boil stock until reduced to 1/4 original amount (2 cups to 1/2 cup) and set aside.
2Season beef with salt and pepper.
3Melt butter and saute beef, set aside.
4Heat oil, add onion, bell peppers and pickles and saute for approximately three minutes, remove from heat, add brandy and ignite.
5When flames subside, return to heat and add stock, cream and paprika.
6Simmer until reduced to desired consistency.
7Cook fettuccine and drain.
8Add beef, lemon juice and hot sauce to cream sauce, season with salt and pepper.
9Spoon over fettuccine and garnish with sour cream and chopped parsley.
