Easy and very yummy recipe! I usually made a double batch and freeze the left overs.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds stew beef bite sized
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 cups onion
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • - flour to thicken
  • 1 can mushrooms or can be fresh
  • 3 (26oz) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or to taste

How To Make beef stroganoff

  • Step 1
    Brown stew beef in butter; add onions and cook till all are tender and done add just enough flour to thicken to a paste
  • Step 2
    Add mushrooms, cans of soup, and sour cream
  • Step 3
    Simmer on very lower for about an hour Serve over hot buttered noodles!!
