  • 2 lb
    stew beef bite sized
  • 1/2 stick
  • 2 c
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • ·
    flour to thicken
  • 1 can(s)
    mushrooms or can be fresh
  • 3 (26oz) can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream or to taste

How to Make Beef Stroganoff


  1. Brown stew beef in butter; add onions and cook till all are tender and done add just enough flour to thicken to a paste
  2. Add mushrooms, cans of soup, and sour cream
  3. Simmer on very lower for about an hour
    Serve over hot buttered noodles!!
