Ingredients
- 3 1/2 pounds beef top round steak, boneless (eyeround ok), cubed or slices , as in stir fry slices
- 1 1/2 cups onions, chopped
- 1 1/2 pounds mushrooms, fresh
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup butter
- 6 teaspoons tomato paste
- 3 cups boullion
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons dry white wine
How To Make beef stroganoff

Step 1Add wine to heavy cream. Set aside

Step 2Melt 1/3 cup butter and saute onions until golden

Step 3Remove onions from heat

Step 4Melt 1/3 cup butter and saute mushrooms,they should be brown and tender.

Step 5Roll beef in flour

Step 6Melt last third of the butter and saute beef.

Step 7Add bouillon, salt, onions.

Step 8Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours gently til beef is tender.

Step 9Add tomatoe paste, worcestershire sauce, creams and mushrooms.

Step 10Simmer gently or just reheat without boiling.
