Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef tenderloin
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 cup onion, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup green bell peppers, seeded and cut into thin strips
  • 3/4 cup yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar

How To Make beef stir fry with tri-color peppers

  • Step 1
    Trim fat from meat (beef or pork could also be used), and cut crosswise into 1/4 inch slices.
  • Step 2
    Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over high heat until hot.
  • Step 3
    Add meat, soy sauce, and next 3 ingredients; stir fry 3 minutes or until meat is done.
  • Step 4
    Remove meat mixture from skillet; set aside and keep warm.
  • Step 5
    Place skillet over medium-high heat; add onion and bell peppers, and stir fry 5 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Return meat mixture to skillet; add vinegar, and cook 1 minute more.
