Ingredients
- 1 pound chuck roast, cubed
- - salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 quarts water
- 1 teaspoon kitchen bouquet
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 6 - potatoes
- 2 - carrots
- 2 - celery stalks with leaves
- 1 - onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 package frozen okra (optional)
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 can whole corn, drained
How To Make beef stew

Step 1Chop veggies into chunks about 1/2 inch. Mince the garlic.

Step 2Cube chuck roast into 1 inch cubes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3Heat oil in a large heavy bottom pot.

Step 4Place beef in pot, sprinkle with flour and brown on all sides, stirring occasionaly.

Step 5Add all remaining ingedients, except the Corn and Okra , and cook on high for 1 hour, lid askew. Stirring occasinaly.

Step 6Taste and add salt, pepper and water, if needed. Add the Okra and corn and continue to cook for another half hour.
