Ingredients

4 lbbeef stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces

3 qtbeef stock
-
3 lbpotatoes, cut in 1-inch pieces

1 lbcarrots, cut into 1-inch pieces

1large onion, cut into 1-inch pieces

28 oztomatoes, crushed
-
28 oztomatoes, dices

1 cred wne
-
2 Tbspgarlic powder

1 Tbspsugar

2 tspblack pepper

2 Tbspparsley, dried

1 Tbspthyme, dried
How to Make Beef Stew
- Brown meat in oil over medium heat in small batches. After all the meat is browned, return to pot. Lower heat to low, add beef stock and simmer for one hour.
- After one hour of cooking, add the remianing ingredients. Stir to combine. Simmer uncovered for two hours.
- Can be made in a slow cooker. Just brown the meat. Add to slow cooker. Add all the remaining ingredients and cook on low for eight to nine hours
