This recipe was given to me many years ago by a close friend and I have no Idea where she got it all I can say is that its hearty, filling and great on a cold night.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds beef chuck, boneless
- 2 tbsp - cooking oil
- 3 lg - potatoes
- 1 16OZ cans tomatoes, canned and cut up
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 - chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 TSP - cinnamon
- 2 cloves glarlic, minced
- 1 TSP - salt
- 1/8 TSP - pepper
- 1 can corn, drained
- 2 medium zucchini ,sliced
How To Make beef stew

Step 1In a dutch oven brown meat 1/3 at a time in hot oil,drain return all the meat to the pan, add potatoes,undrained tomatoes,onions,green peppers,water ,cinnamon,garlic,salt and pepper

Step 2If you want you can transfer the mixture to a 3 quart casserole and bake covered in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours stir in corn and zucchini bake 45 min longer. when finished add a little more salt & pepper to taste

Step 3I never use a casserole dish I complete the whole meal in a dutch oven.
