Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 pkg
    frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 1/4 c
    chunky salsa
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8
    flour tortillas, warmed

How to Make Beef & Salsa Burritos

Step-by-Step

  1. In large nonstick skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes or until no longer pink, stirring occasionally.
  2. Pour off drippings.
  3. Season beef with chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in spinach and salsa, heat through.
  5. Remove from heat stir in cheese.
  6. Spoon 1/2 cup beef mixture in center of each tortilla.
  7. Fold bottom edge up over filling; fold sides to center, overlapping edges.
  8. Makes 8 burritos.
