Ingredients
- 1 1/2 - lbs of beef round steak
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 - 16 oz can tomatoes (cut up)
- 1/2 cup onions (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup carrots (cut up) *optional
How To Make beef round steak

Step 1Cut meat into 6 serving size portions.

Step 2Combine flour & salt, pound 2 tbls of mixture into meat.

Step 3Brown meat in shortening.

Step 4Put meat in baking dish.

Step 5Blend & bring the rest of the flour mixture into pan drippings, stir in undrained tomatoes, carrots, onions, and worstershire sauce.

Step 6Stir until thick and bubbly.

Step 7Pour over meat and bake covered at 350 degrees until tender. About 1 hour and 20 minutes.
