Ingredients For beef roast in instant pot

1 Tbspvegetable oil

3 1/2 lbbeef chuck roast

2sliced white onions
-
1/4 cbalsamic vinegar

1 cchicken broth
-
2 Tbspdark soy sauce
-
1 Tbspoyster or fish sauce

1 pinchdried thyme
-
1 pinchdried rosemary
-
2bay leaves
-
4peeled/cubed potatoes

4peeled/cubed carrots

1 Tbspcorn starch
How To Make beef roast in instant pot

1Heat oil in instant pot on SAUTE. Salt/pepper the roast and place in instant pot for 10 minutes on each side on saute setting. Remove roast.

2Deglaze the pot with the balsamic vinegar.

3Add broth, soy sauce, oyster or fish sauce, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves and the Roast.

4Pressure cook for 45 minutes with Natural release.

5Remove roast and add vegetables and cornstarch, stirring. Pressure cook for 4 minutes. Quick release.
