stew meat cut into 1 ich cubes
1/3 c
flour
2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1 1/2 c
chopped onion

celery stalks chopped into 1 inch pieces
3 large
potatoes peeled and diced
16 oz
canned tomatoes
1 tsp
oregano, dried
2
garlic cloves minced
1 c
beef stock
2 Tbsp
flour
3 Tbsp
water

How to Make Beef Ragu

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine 1/3 c. flour, salt and pepper, toss beef cubes with flour mixture and brown in 1 tbsp. oil in large stock pot.
  • 2Add remaining ingredients except the 2 tbsp. of flour and water.
  • 3Stir well and cook for 5-6 hours on med. low. One hour before serving mix in the combined 2 tbsp. flour and 3 tbsp. water. Cook until thick.
