Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pot roast
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 - onion, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups cola
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed

How To Make beef pot roast

  • Step 1
    Heat oil in a pot, add the meat and brown well on both sides.
  • Step 2
    Remove the meat and pour out the fat.
  • Step 3
    Replace the meat and add onion, carrot and cola.
  • Step 4
    Place over medium heat and cook 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Add stock and salt, cover and cook for 1 1/4 hours or until meat is tender.
  • Step 6
    Add the peas and cook another 5 minutes.
