Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 - egg, well beaten
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 cups cabbage, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped and sauteed

How To Make beef pinwheel

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    Grease a shallow baking pan.
  • Step 3
    Combine meat, salt, worcestershire sauce, egg, ketchup and bread crumbs.
  • Step 4
    Blend well.
  • Step 5
    Roll out meat between 2 sheets of waxed paper into an oblong about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Step 6
    Spread with cabbage mixture.
  • Step 7
    Roll like a jelly roll.
  • Step 8
    Place in a baking pan.
  • Step 9
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Step 10
    Serve plain or with canned cream of vegetable soup, heated to boiling as a sauce.
