Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1.5 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1
    egg, well beaten
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 1/3 c
    bread crumbs
  • 3 c
    cabbage, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped and sauteed

How to Make Beef Pinwheel

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Grease a shallow baking pan.
  3. Combine meat, salt, worcestershire sauce, egg, ketchup and bread crumbs.
  4. Blend well.
  5. Roll out meat between 2 sheets of waxed paper into an oblong about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Spread with cabbage mixture.
  7. Roll like a jelly roll.
  8. Place in a baking pan.
  9. Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
  10. Serve plain or with canned cream of vegetable soup, heated to boiling as a sauce.
