How to Make Beef Patties Italian-Style

Step-by-Step

  • 1Shape ground beef into 4 oval patties about 1/2-inch thick.
  • 2In large skillet, fry patties until browned on both sides.
  • 3Sprinkle with salt.
  • 4Remove patties to platter.
  • 5Add onion to drippings in pan and cook until tender.
  • 6Add garlic, mushrooms and peppers.
  • 7Cook until tender crisp.
  • 8Drain off fat.
  • 9Stir the oregano and spaghetti sauce into vegetables and heat to boiling.
