Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb
    ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1.5 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 c
    cottage cheese
  • 2
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 pkg
    puff pastry sheet, thawed

How to Make Beef Pastry Pockets

Step-by-Step

  1. Cool cooked beef and cut puff pastry into 5 inch squares.
  2. Combine filling ingredients.
  3. In center of squares, put a heaping 1/3 cupful of filling; moisten edges of pastry with water, fold over to form triangles; press with fork to seal.
  4. Bake at 400 about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
