This easy casserole was always a favorite with my kids and their friends. Note: If you are in a hurry,you can substitute jarred spaghetti sauce for the homemade tomato sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces grated american cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 12 - stuffed green olives, chopped
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

  • 8 ounces egg noodles

How To Make beef noodle casserole

  • Step 1
    Place beef, onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic in a skillet.
  • Step 2
    Cook on medium high until beef is done and veggies are soft.
  • Step 3
    Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 3 more minutes or until mushrooms are done.
  • Step 4
    Meanwhile cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain
  • Step 5
    Remove from the heat. Drain the excess grease.
  • Step 6
