This easy casserole was always a favorite with my kids and their friends. Note: If you are in a hurry,you can substitute jarred spaghetti sauce for the homemade tomato sauce.

Ingredients For beef noodle casserole

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 8 oz
    grated american cheese
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1 sm
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 stalk
    celery, chopped
  • 1 can
    condensed tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1/4 c
    sliced mushrooms
  • 12
    stuffed green olives, chopped
  • 1 (6 oz.) can
    tomato paste
  • 1 c
  • 8 oz
    egg noodles

How To Make beef noodle casserole

  • 1
    Place beef, onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic in a skillet.

    Cook on medium high until beef is done and veggies are soft.

    Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 3 more minutes or until mushrooms are done.

    Meanwhile cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain
  • 5
    Remove from the heat. Drain the excess grease.
  • 6
    Combine the meat mixture, olives,, tomato paste, soup, and noodles. Mix gently.

    Place the mixture in a casserole dish. Top with the shredded cheese.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
