When I discovered Orzo I wanted to do something different and I was tired of the same old pot roast

Ingredients

  • 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 2 packages mushrooms, fresh
  • 1 - sliced onions
  • 1/2 to1 cup red wine
  • 1 can 6 oz italian herb tomato paste
  • 1 box orzo
  • 1 cup beef broth

How To Make beef margeaux

  • Step 1
    Salt and pepper the roast and brown it in olive oil. Place in a crock pot. In the same pan add the mushrooms and onions and brown. Add tomato paste, wine and broth. Mix well. Put all this in the crock pot and cook at low for 5 to 6 hours, you know your crock pot and know how long it would take to cook a pot roast. About 20 minutes before you are going to serve add the orzo. I hope you enjoy
