This recipe could also be made with chicken, pork, or no meat at all. If you make it meatless, increase to 2 carrots, shredded, and 3 to 3-1/2 cups of bok choy or napa cabbage.

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons peanut oil
- 3/4 pound sirloin steak
- 2 - celery stalks, shredded
- 1 - carrot, shredded
- 2 slices ginger root, minced
- 2 cups bok choy or napa cabbage
- 2 - green onions, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/2 pound spaghetti noodles, cooked
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce, light
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make beef lo mein

Step 1Cook spaghetti as directed on package, AL DENTE, drain, rinse in cold water, add a few drops oil and mix to keep from sticking.

Step 2Set aside.

Step 3Slice steak VERY THIN, across the grain, into 2" pieces.

Step 4Mix together, steak, minced ginger, green onion, cornstarch, sugar and light soy, and set aside to marinate.

Step 5Heat wok to smoking; add 2 tablspoons oil.

Step 6Stir fry meat mixture two minutes, or until no longer pink; do not overcook. Remove from wok and set aside.

Step 7Add 2 tablespoons oil and heat; stir fry carrots, celery and cabbage two minutes; add cooked spaghetti, stir well and cook a few minutes. Add meat mixture, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and salt.

Step 8Stir a minute to heat and serve.
