beef gumbo rice
A college roommate of my husband’s used to make this for them. It’s quick, super easy and has become a favorite in our house. The kids always loved it when we had gumbo rice night. It isn’t spicy at all, so you could adjust that if you wanted. Serve with a salad and some crusty French bread for a complete meal.

Ingredients
- 3-4 cans campbell’s chicken gumbo soup
- 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
- To taste - salt and pepper
- 2 cups instant rice
How To Make beef gumbo rice

Step 1Brown ground beef and drain.

Step 2Add cans of soup and salt/pepper. The Campbell’s is hard to find. 2 of the chunky gumbo soup with sausage works.

Step 3Serve over hot, cooked white rice.
