beef,green bean tator tot casserole

When I married my husband this is the one thing he could cook, said it was his mom's go-to recipe. I added here & there and it's now my go to recipe on a busy night. It also freezes wonderfully, so once a month I make 2 or 3 to put in the freezer. Easy to double for an 9x13 pan.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef, (i've also used turkey & pork)
  • 2 cans cut green beans
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (i have also used cheddar cheese soup, it's good too)
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 - small bag tator tots (won't use all for 1 recipe)

How To Make beef,green bean tator tot casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat Oven to 375. Brown the beef in skillet.
  • Step 2
    In 8x8 pan mix all ingredients except tator tots. Add tator tots in rows until top is covered completly with tator tots.
  • Step 3
    Bake 35-45 minutes, or until the tator tots are browned and casserole is bubbly.
  • Step 4
    I serve with Green Tobasco sauce for the adults & ketchup for my daughter. Add a green salad & dinner is served!!
