Ingredients

  • 13.25 ounces pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup steak sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon salad oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • pinch pepper
  • 2 pounds beef sirloin tip, cubed
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make beef en brochette

  • Step 1
    Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.
  • Step 2
    Cover and refrigerate pineapple chunks.
  • Step 3
    Combine the 1/2 cup pineapple liquid with steak sauce and next 4 ingredients; pour over meat.
  • Step 4
    Marinate 2 to 3 hours in refrigerator, turning occasionally.
  • Step 5
    Thread meat and pineapple chunks alternately on six (12 inch) skewers, allowing 4-5 pieces of meat and 5-6 pieces of pineapple for each skewer.
  • Step 6
    Brush with marinade; season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Step 7
    Grill or broil 3 inches from heat source 5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
  • Step 8
    Makes 6 servings.
