Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 1/2 pounds beef cubes, 1 1/2 inches
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- 2/3 cup burgundy wine
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1 - bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1 pound onions, small white
- - cooked noodles or macaroni
How To Make beef bourguignonne

Step 1In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove and crumble.

Step 2Brown beef in drippings.

Step 3Add soup, wine, garlic, bay, parsley, thyme and bacon.

Step 4Cover; cook over low heat 1 hour.

Step 5Add onions; cook 1 hour more or until done.

Step 6Stir occasionally.

Step 7Remove bay leaf.

Step 8Serve over noodles.
