beef cubes, 1 1/2 inches
1 can(s)
golden mushroom soup
2/3 c
burgundy wine
1 large
clove garlic, minced
bay leaf
2 Tbsp
chopped parsley
1/4 tsp
1 lb
onions, small white
cooked noodles or macaroni

How to Make Beef Bourguignonne


  • 1In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove and crumble.
  • 2Brown beef in drippings.
  • 3Add soup, wine, garlic, bay, parsley, thyme and bacon.
  • 4Cover; cook over low heat 1 hour.
  • 5Add onions; cook 1 hour more or until done.
  • 6Stir occasionally.
  • 7Remove bay leaf.
  • 8Serve over noodles.
