This was a recipe my mom used to make when I lived at home. I think it may be French. Maybe someone here knows. But in a way its somewhat like a beef stew type of dish. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef (i'd say cut up in small pieces)
- - 3-4 carrots chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 2 teaspoons onions, sliced
- 2 cans tomatoes i guess you can chose the size of the cans it doesn't specificy the size of the can
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 tablespoons tapioca
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup burgandy
How To Make beef bourguignonna

Step 1Cook above ingredients at 250* for 5 hours (covered). After 4 hours add 1 cup sliced water chestnuts, 1/2 pound mushrooms, and 2 pounds cubed potatoes.
