This was a recipe my mom used to make when I lived at home. I think it may be French. Maybe someone here knows. But in a way its somewhat like a beef stew type of dish. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef (i'd say cut up in small pieces)
  • - 3-4 carrots chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons onions, sliced
  • 2 cans tomatoes i guess you can chose the size of the cans it doesn't specificy the size of the can
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 tablespoons tapioca
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup burgandy

How To Make beef bourguignonna

  • Step 1
    Cook above ingredients at 250* for 5 hours (covered). After 4 hours add 1 cup sliced water chestnuts, 1/2 pound mushrooms, and 2 pounds cubed potatoes.
