Ingredients
- 1 pound beef tenderloin
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons shiaoxing rice cooking wine
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 - red bell pepper
- 1 - green bell pepper
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 - scallion. chopped
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil
- FOR SAUCE:
- ½ cup beef stock, unsalted
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1½ tablespoons honey
- ½ teaspoon sesame oil
- 1¼ teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
How To Make beef black pepper

Step 1Cut the beef into size bite, place in a medium bowl and marinate with soy sauce, corn starch, cooking wine and black pepper. Set aside.

Step 2Cut bell peppers and onion into bite size, set aside.

Step 3Combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

Step 4Heat 2 Tbsp peanut oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Cook and brown both side of the beef for 2 minute per side. Transfer the meat to plate lined with paper towel, set aside.

Step 5In the same skillet, add the rest of peanut oil. Cook minced garlic and grated ginger for 1 minute until fragrant. Add onion, bell peppers and chopped scallion, cook and stir for another 1 minute. Add sauce into a skillet, stir until sauce bubble and thickened. Put the meat back to a skillet, cook and stir for another 1-2 minutes until sauce bubble. Turn the heat off.

Step 6Serve immediately with rice.
