Ingredients
- 3 pounds boneless pot roast, cut into 1/2 inch slices
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 6 - tomatoes, peeled and quartered
- 4 ounces sliced mushrooms with juice
- 1/2 cup black olives, pitted and drained
- 1 - garlic clove, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1 - bay leaf
How To Make beef arlesienne

Step 1Heat oil in dutch oven or electric frying pan.

Step 2Add meat and brown well on both sides.

Step 3Pour off fat and add the rest of the ingredients to the pan.

Step 4Cover tightly and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
