Ingredients For beef arlesienne

3 lbboneless pot roast, cut into 1/2 inch slices

1/4 tspbasil

1/4 tsppepper

1/2 tspsalt

1garlic clove, crushed

1/2 cblack olives, pitted and drained

4 ozsliced mushrooms with juice

6tomatoes, peeled and quartered

2 Tbspoil

1bay leaf
How To Make beef arlesienne

1Heat oil in dutch oven or electric frying pan.

2Add meat and brown well on both sides.

3Pour off fat and add the rest of the ingredients to the pan.

4Cover tightly and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
