Ingredients
- 1 pound lean beef 1
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1 can campbell's beef consomme
- 2/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 can mushrooms (drained)
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1/4 cup dried bread crumbs
- 1 cup baby carrots
How To Make beef and wine casserole

Step 1Combine beef, wine, consomme, salt, pepper,garlic, onions, mushrooms and carrots in greased casserole dish. Mix flour and bread crumbs thoroughly and stir into the meat mixture. Cook at 300 degrees (covered) for 3 hours. Serve over hot cooked white rice or egg noodles. ENJOY! The recipe serves 4 using 1 lb. of beef. Of course, you can always double this for more people or to have leftovers.
