beef and salsa burritos

A friend cooked this for me today. Fabulous..is all I can say. Not too spicy or bland...Just right!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach (thawed & drained)
  • 1 1/2 cups chunky salsa (like pace) i use mild
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 - flour tortillas, warmed

How To Make beef and salsa burritos

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet,brown ground beef over medium heat.
  • Step 2
    Season beef with chili powder, cumin, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Stir in spinach and salsa; heat through. Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
  • Step 3
    Spoon 2 tablespoons of beef mixture in center of each tortilla, roll over. Enjoy with sour cream or more salsa or both.
