Ingredients
- MARINADE
- 2 tablespoons each soy sauce and shaoxing wine
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 12 ounces steak of choice i used porterhouse cut into cubes
- STIR FRY
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 1 large shallot diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons ginger grated
- 1 fresh red chili seeded and thinly sliced
- 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
- 3 tablespoons beef stock
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- fresh cilantro chopped
How To Make beef and mushroom stir fry

Step 1Mix the marinade ingredients together. Add the meat and let marinate at room temp for 1 hour or in fridge overnight.

Step 2In a wok or large skillet add the oil. Once it's hot add the garlic, shallots, and ginger. Stir fry 1 minute. Add the mushrooms and stir fry until the mushrooms give up there moisture and begin to brown. Add the red chili and stir fry 30 seconds. Add the beef and marinade and stir fry 3 minutes. Mix the beef stock and cornstarch together add to Wok and stir fry for 1 minute until thickened.
