This is a great recipe for either a main dish or a potluck!

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (10 - 12 oz each) Frozen Spinach
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, finely sliced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

How To Make beef and mushroom bake

  • Step 1
    Place spinach in a wire strainer and rinse with warm water until thawed. Press out all of the water; set aside spinach.
  • Step 2
    Cook salt, beef and onion for about three minutes. Add mushrooms and cook until most of the liquid is gone.
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat and stir in the spinach, sour cream, seasonings, and 1/2 cup of each of the cheeses.
  • Step 4
    Turn into a shallow 2 qt. glass dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Step 5
    Bake uncovered in a 350 oven until heated through, about 30 minutes.
