Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
  • 1/3 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 - green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce with mushrooms 8 ounces
  • 1 can green beans, 8 ounces
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 - egg, slightly beaten

How To Make beef and cheese pie

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Fry ground beef, onion and green bell pepper in a large frying pan.
  • Step 3
    Drain fat and stir in tomato sauce, beans and seasoning.
  • Step 4
    Simmer while preparing crust.
  • Step 5
    Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles.
  • Step 6
    Place in an ungreased 9\" pie pan.
  • Step 7
    Press bottom and sides to form a crust.
  • Step 8
    Combine egg and 1 cup cheese.
  • Step 9
    Spread over crust, evenly.
  • Step 10
    Spoon hot meat mixture into crust and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Step 11
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. (serves 6)
