Ingredients

  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/4 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/3 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4
    green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato sauce with mushrooms 8 ounces
  • 1 can(s)
    green beans, 8 ounces
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 can(s)
    crescent rolls
  • 1
    egg, slightly beaten

How to Make Beef and Cheese Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Fry ground beef, onion and green bell pepper in a large frying pan.
  3. Drain fat and stir in tomato sauce, beans and seasoning.
  4. Simmer while preparing crust.
  5. Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles.
  6. Place in an ungreased 9" pie pan.
  7. Press bottom and sides to form a crust.
  8. Combine egg and 1 cup cheese.
  9. Spread over crust, evenly.
  10. Spoon hot meat mixture into crust and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  11. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. (serves 6)
