shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/4 lb
ground beef
1/3 Tbsp
green bell pepper chopped
1 can(s)
tomato sauce with mushrooms 8 ounces
1 can(s)
green beans, 8 ounces
1/4 tsp
garlic salt
1 can(s)
crescent rolls
egg, slightly beaten

How to Make Beef and Cheese Pie


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2Fry ground beef, onion and green bell pepper in a large frying pan.
  • 3Drain fat and stir in tomato sauce, beans and seasoning.
  • 4Simmer while preparing crust.
  • 5Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles.
  • 6Place in an ungreased 9" pie pan.
  • 7Press bottom and sides to form a crust.
  • 8Combine egg and 1 cup cheese.
  • 9Spread over crust, evenly.
  • 10Spoon hot meat mixture into crust and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • 11Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. (serves 6)
