beef and broccoli stir fry

Ingredients
- 12 ounces packaged broccoli florets
- 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
- 1 jar 4.5 ounces of mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon water
- 3/4 cup kikkoman stir fry sauce
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry or beef broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons canola oil or whatever oil you have handy
- 1&1/2 pound flank steak cut diagonally into thin strips
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make beef and broccoli stir fry

Step 1In a medium microwave bowl combine carrots and broccoliand mushrooms with the water.Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high setting [100% power]for 7 to 8 minutes. Stirring half way through cycle. Then drain and set aside.

Step 2For Sauce-In a small bowl,combine stir fry sauce, sherry,soy sauce, garlic and red pepper flakes. Set aside.

Step 3In a wok or large skillet,heat oil over high heat. Season beef with the black pepper. Add beef to the hot oil and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

Step 4Add drained vegtables to wok or skillet and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Return beef to and accumulated juice to the wok or skillet. Stir the sauce and pour into the wok or skillet. Stir all ingredients together scraping the browned bits from the bottom, stirring for another 1 to 2 minutes more. Serve hot over rice or serve with mashed potatoes on the side.
