Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef top round steak boneless
- 1/2 cup soysauce
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 bunches broccoli, fresh
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1/2 - onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper, optional
How To Make beef and broccoli
-
Step 1In a medium pot combine soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger, and crushed red pepper. And heat on low heat until sugar is completely disovled. Taste to ensure goodyness.
-
Step 2Heat a large pan with 2 Tbsp of oil. Slice the top round into strips of desired thickiness. (I like to make mine about 1/4 inch thick and about 2 inches long). Add to the heated oil. Cook for about 3 minutes and add onions.
-
Step 3Stir in minced garlic, broccoli, and the sauce mixture into the beef. Turn heat to low and cover for about 3 minutes, stirring occassionally, until beef is cooked throughly and broccoli is slightly cruchy. Serve over rice and enjoy!
