Ingredients

  • 4 lb
    boneless beef chuck roast
  • 12
    mushrooms, chopped
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 can(s)
    beer
  • 2 large
    onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 2 large
    green peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared mustard

How to Make Beef And Beer

Step-by-Step

  1. Salt and pepper meat and brown lightly in heavy skillet.
  2. Add onions, pepper and mushrooms and brown lightly.
  3. Pour beer over all, stir in ketchup and mustard.
  4. Cover tightly and simmer slowly for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
