Don't remember where exactly I got this recipe, but it's pretty tasty and not hard to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 80%
  • 1 1/2 cups onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
  • 1 - bell pepper, medium, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 3 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups water
  • 1-2 can kidney beans, canned (15.5 oz can)
  • 1 can tomatoes, crushed 28 oz
  • 1 can tomato paste (12 oz)

How To Make beef and bean chili

  • Step 1
    Brown beef with onions,garlic and bell pepper. Drain, if necessary.
  • Step 2
    Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ready now to eat!
  • Step 3
    Great with taco chips, cheddar cheese or plain! Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles or elbow macaroni and top with cheddar cheese or colby cheese. Don't forget the saltine crackers!
