beef and barley skillet dinner
I have been making this for so long I can't remember how many years! My father-in-law loved when I would make this before he passed. It is quick, fairly cheep, and hearty delicious-ness!

Ingredients
- 3/4 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 - green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 3/4 cup quick cooking barley
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
How To Make beef and barley skillet dinner

Step 1In a deep skillet, cook beef, onion, and bell pepper until beef is no longer pink. Drain.

Step 2Stir in rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook 20-25 minutes, or until barley is tender. Enjoy!
