I am always asked to make these. Whenever we get together with friends or family these are always requested. The sweet milk really gives them a unique flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds hamburger
  • 2 cups oatmeal, uncooked
  • 2 - eggs
  • 5 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 ounces evaporated milk
  • 3 ounces water
  • 1 cup chopped fine onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 4 cups ketchup
  • 3 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 4 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make bbq meatballs

  • Step 1
    Mix meat, oats, eggs, onion, milks, water, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 2 tsp. chili powder. Mix all up. Make into balls and place into baking dish. Will make 30 and use 2 9x13 baking dishes.
  • Step 2
    Mix ketchup, brown sugar, liquid smoke, 1 tsp. garlic powder. Put in microwave for 2 minutes and then mix. Repeat this step until mixture is smooth.
  • Step 3
    Pour bbq sauce over meatballs. Cover pans with foil. Bake in preheated oven at 350 for 1 hour.
