I found this recipe a long time ago in my hometown newspaper. Everyone who's had it has said it's wonderful.

Ingredients

  • ·
    2 lbs beef short ribs
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1
    medium onion, sliced
  • 1
    8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/8 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/8 c
    vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c
    water
  • ·
    hot cooked noodles

How to Make BBQ Beef Ribs

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray crock pot insert with non stick spray or use a slow cooker liner (much simpler).
  2. Heat oil in large skillet. Brown meat, add onions, and cook until meat is brown and onions are soft. Transfer to crock pot.
  3. Blend tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, dry mustard and worcestershire sauce and pour over meat.
  4. Cook on high 6-8 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over noodles or rice.
