Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked beef chunks
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • - butter
  • 1 cup cooked carrots
  • 1 cup cooked potatoes, cut in chunks
  • 1 cup beef gravy
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups milk

How To Make batter up beef pie

  • Step 1
    Saute the onion in butter.
  • Step 2
    Combine beef, onions, carrots, potatoes and gravy.
  • Step 3
    Set aside.
  • Step 4
    Melt butter in bottom of 8\" square baking dish in 350 degree oven.
  • Step 5
    Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl.
  • Step 6
    Stir until blended.
  • Step 7
    Pour in baking dish.
  • Step 8
    Pour beef mixture over batter.
  • Step 9
    DO NOT STIR.
  • Step 10
    Bake 1 hour and serve.
