  • 2 c
    cooked beef chunks
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • ·
  • 1 c
    cooked carrots
  • 1 c
    cooked potatoes, cut in chunks
  • 1 c
    beef gravy
  • 1/4 c
  • 1.5 c
  • 1 c
    grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried onion flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 1.5 c

How to Make Batter Up Beef Pie


  1. Saute the onion in butter.
  2. Combine beef, onions, carrots, potatoes and gravy.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Melt butter in bottom of 8" square baking dish in 350 degree oven.
  5. Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl.
  6. Stir until blended.
  7. Pour in baking dish.
  8. Pour beef mixture over batter.
  10. Bake 1 hour and serve.
